Himekishi wa Barbaroi no Yome

Serafina de Lavillant is the captain of the First company in the Illdoren Kingdom, a nation determined to conquer the eastern lands, which it considers the home of barbarians.  Loyal to her kingdom, Serafina leads a military expedition, hoping to secure a better future for her people. During the campaign, she faces Veor, the powerful heir of an eastern clan. To protect her soldiers, Serafina agrees to fight him in a one-on-one duel. Although she fights bravely, Veor defeats her.

Serafina expected to be executed or tortured as a prisoner. She was shocked when Veor confessed that he fell in love with her during their fight and now he wanted to marry her. At first she believed that it was all part of a trick. After spending some time with Veor and his people, she realized that the eastern lands are very different from what she was taught.
