During a family trip to a traditional hot spring resort, Kazuta Kinoshita hopes to grow closer to his rental girlfriend, Chizuru Ichinose. After spending more time with her and receiving mixed signals about her feelings, Kazuya decides that it’s time to stop pretending and finally end their friendship when they return to Tokyo. However, his plans are ruined when his ex-girlfriend, Mami Nanami, steps in. Determined to expose the truth, Mami reveals that Kazuya and Chizuru’s relationship is fake in front of their family and friends. With everything falling apart, Kazuya must decide what to do to protect both his reputation and his relationship with Chizuru. As the story continues, two of them feel their true feelings, and the consequences of the lies they have been telling.
